Introduction

An IoT enabled smart pond monitoring system. Measures the levels of water quality by sensors and automated volumetric titration. Data is stored in the cloud and the farmer is warned through notification whenever a parameter is at a dangerous level.

Water is drawn into the beaker through a pump. Ammonium ion is detected by Berthelot reaction. The obtained color is detected by the Spectro-photometer. The concentration of ions in the solution can be found by measuring the absorbance value. Final values are checked against a threshold value. The readings noted on the microcontroller are communicated to the cloud using NodeMCU. After that, it fetches the current timestamp from NTP Server and uploads the received string data.
