Your use case

Verify the product against release acceptance criteria

What we need going into the session

  • List of acceptance criteria
  • Pick a time when Product can attend
  • 100% of P0 tasks are complete
  • Community testing has happened and all of the issues found during testing have been resolved (this can be a "won't fix" resolution)

During the session

  • Lay out standard paths to follow to achieve tasks (test cases with steps)
  • Run through some exploratory test cases (tasks to achieve without steps)
  • Collect defects and enhancements which are found, and make sure to collect accurate reproductions steps with screenshots and screen recordings as needed
  • Compare every view of the product against designs

Outputs from the session

  • Product processes and files found issues
  • Decision is made on whether product is ready for release (and if not, clear record made of what needs to happen to reach the point of release)
  • If any re-testing is needed, follow up session is booked and task is filed

@jakewb-b & @emmaburton1 As y'all are now responsible for launching the bubbles, I've tagged you in this issue.

We previously ran a few rounds of acceptance testing on iOS but as it hasn't yet passed, this is the issue related to that. If you'd like to track this another way, please feel free to close this issue.
