Sorry, I try to clarify my thoughts... and make an example : Of course the default behavior when a user join a space should be to hide the location. The user should be really aware when he decide to be visible by nearby people. I hope I manage to be clearer with this example. |

Your use case
What would you like to do?
The user could be able to browse community space members by location around herself/himself.
Why would you like to do it?
Being able to find people living around (or staying for a while in the neighborhood) who belong to the same community (passion like astronomy, political subject, religion, LGBTQ+...) as the user.
How would you like to achieve it?
As there is video room which are specific room dedicated to video chat, it would be possible to have location space, a specific type of space where users who are member of accept to share their location in order to be able to be contacted by other users nearby and be able to see a list of users nearby and contact them. Of course the space would have a subject, a community driven aspect.
The user should be able to set the number of km around he accepts to be visible by others.
