Your use case

What would you like to do?

Some toxic users/bots find it funny to invite hundreds of people to their rooms. When I receive an invite that turns out to be spam, I'd like the ability to report it as unsollicited invite. Ideally, I'd like the ability to do this:

  • as soon as I receive the invite, if I notice that there is something wrong with it;
  • after having mistakenly accepted it, if I notice too late that it was a spam invite.

Why would you like to do it?

So that toxic users/bots can be kicked out.

How would you like to achieve it?

Vague ideas:

  1. The invite dialog should have a report button, just as we have a report button for text messages. It could open the exact same dialog or something more specialized.
  2. We should find a place to report invites post-facto. Not sure where to put it in such a way that users find it. Perhaps we should simply keep the invite "tab" open for e.g. 1h after the user accepts it?

Have you considered any alternatives?
