@ara4n Can this (and related) be closed?

• The buttons don't exist anymore for this ticket.
• "Mark all read" doesn't work when you upload a picture taller than the window #1704 doesn't apply (the X on the new bar fixes it, indirectly)
• We show '(^) unread messages' bar, and you can't clear it, if you have sent lots of messages #1192 is also fixed by the X on the new bar

the 'X' just does the same as the link text used to. I'm not convinced either of those others have been fixed as a result of changing the shape of the control from some words into an X. (They may have been fixed independently, of course).

Anyway, closing this one as a probable dup of one of the other two.
