Can't clear mentions in typing field
Tried reloading the page but not working

Outcome

mention pills should be cleared if backspace/delete is typed

They can be removed but it is indeed buggy. Backspace sends your focus somewhere else, bring it back manually and then backspace works. Select All backspace works too.

This got broken in https://github.com/vector-im/element-web/releases/tag/v1.9.10-rc.1

It works fine in chrome, but buggy in safari.
Also bringing backspace to focus doesn't seem to work
