they have all evaporated now, but occasionally it still seems to get a bit stuck. unsure what the pattern is so far. currently it's behaving itself.

ah, i bet this may be related to a local echo RR problem as per #623

my #vector:matrix.org has 2 stuck on it atm. weirdly the room is bolded (unread) but has no missed-notification black bar.
