I use a 2007 Apple Aluminium Keyboard, and essentially, whenever I try to boot up into elementary OS, the Num Lock key is enabled. This is an annoyance as the keyboard does not have an actual Num Lock key or Number Keys. Only the older keyboards produced in the years 2004-2007 have a number pad and num lock key present.
You can disable the num lock with Shift + F6 (+ Fn). However, it never remembers it, and becomes annoying, especially if you're trying to type your password in the login screen, only for you to realise that the password was wrong all of the time because you forgot to turn off the num lock.
Proposal
Add a 'Disable Num Lock on Startup' Toggle Switch under System Settings ➜ Keyboard ➜ Behaviour
