Text doesn't render properly on first launch

What Happened?

Both on demo mode and after install of Circe RC, most labels didn't load and text appeared as blocks. Clicking Next fixed it.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Boot into demo mode or installed system.
2. Onboarding shows up, but with the text as black blocks.
   

Expected Behavior

It shows the text normally.

Can this still be reproduced on the latest RC? The very first one was fairly busted

Yes, it did reproduce on Oct 1 RC as well.

Something similar happened on AppCenter as well, so this is likely not an Onboarding issue.
