A mobile game that combats stroop effect!
The Stroop Effect is a phenomenon that occurs when you must say the color of a word but not the name of the word. For example, blue might be printed in red and you must say the color rather than the word.
When you're ready to play, hit START. Follow the directions on the screen and press one of two buttons to determine if the color text matches the color meaning. Play daily and watch your high score improve! This means your mind is conditioning itself to better combat the Stroop effect.
NOTE: This app has not yet launched to the app store and is still in the process of being polished. In order to preview this app, you will need to clone this repository and open it in Xcode
- If you do not have Xcode you can download it here
- After cloning, be sure to enable privacy and notifications settings for the app to work
- Be able to unlock special bonuses when you come back daily
- Implementation of different gaming features: choose your level of difficulty and speed
