Description

I have been running Ente Auth in its window on my Linux desktop since I installed version 4.2.8, but I had to close the window in order to do a Linux Debian update.

After my update I ran the Ente Auth command.
The Ente Auth window opened, but is black and says:

Update available
v4.3.1
Download

I clicked on Download (thinking it would do an automatic update in the background and refresh the window). Instead it opened the following webpage:

https://github.com/ente-io/ente/releases/tag/auth-v4.3.1

This link took ages to load but eventually I saw the list of Assets at the bottom.

I downloaded the deb file for v4.3.1 and updated the Ente Auth executable.

However when I again tried to run Ente Auth, I still got the Update message as above.

N.B.
I noticed the following errors in the xterm background where I am running Ente Auth:

** (ente_auth:5211): CRITICAL **: 19:26:42.568: Failed to read XDG desktop portal settings: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.portal.Error.NotFound: Requested setting not found

Is it possible for the 'Update available' window to be bypassed, so that I can continue using Ente Auth without doing any updating ? Perhaps the window could contain an X icon somewhere that you could click and continue without doing any update.

This is a very urgent request as i am afraid to continue using Ente Auth.
