Capture groups not working in Vale Studio?

When I try to use a capture group in Vale studio I get this error message:
capture group not supported; use '(?:' instead of '('

$ rpm -qi vale
Name        : vale
Version     : 3.7.0
Release     : 1.fc39
Architecture: x86_64

tbh I thought Vale studio would use the latest build from the repo (does it?) and not the locally installed version. I'm going to try using that now.

Update: Capture groups work fine locally. Just not in Vale studio. 3.7.0 seems to have broken one of our substitution rules, too, although it still works in Vale studio. Still investigating...

You can see the version of Vale being used in the Vale Studio console (#707). It hasn't been updated to the latest release yet.
