By theory you could attach a little ESP-based microcontroller board to the interface and get status feedback from led outputs etc to translate it into an remote control protocol over WiFi for connection to evcc. But I promise buying a new charger with a proper remote control interface like modbus would be a much better and time saving solution. |

Not sure whether its still of interest, but I recently integrated my Delta Basic WB into Home Assistant via ModBus: https://www.photovoltaikforum.com/thread/209699-delta-ac-max-basic-wallbox-modus-rtu-rs485-wie You dont need the small board which in addition gives you less options than the control via ModBus: |

Has anyone already successfully integrated the "Delta Max Smart" into EVCC? |

Dear all,
does anyone have experience with the AC MAX Basic wallbox? By default it can only be controlled via DIP switches but according to the manual optional external control is possible, see below. I am wondering what kind of setup (raspberry pi or so) can be used to connect via the control board.
My current setup:
SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0 (via LAN)
SMA inverter (via LAN)
2x delta wallbox
Synology NAS with docker available
Many thanks!
