@mikeal , @dougwilson , @troygoode , @LinusU , @niftylettuce , @jonathanong , @hacksparrow , @wesleytodd , @blakeembrey , @crandmck :

I am writing this to bring your attention on the current activites that are planned for the imminent release (express 5). I sincerely request all the active members to make it to this (as well as upcoming TC meetings) with an aim of addressing these:

  • PRs identified and developed, but needs timely reviews and landing
  • due to absence of many TC members, decision making process is slow / questionable
  • in many cases, discussions are not leading to ratification, so might require voting

Few immediate items:
expressjs/express#3621 (~2 years old)
expressjs/express#4208
expressjs/express#4212
expressjs/express#4210
expressjs/expressjs.com#1114

proactive actions between now and the meeting is highly appreciated! My proposal is to convert this into a working session to do what it takes to land these.

thanks in advance!

I would like to talk briefly about ongoing roles of the repo captains. I volunteered to start looking at the the session repo with Gireesh and would like to get a set of expectations that a the repo captains would handle.

I’m still pretty new to the project but would love to help with v5 any way I can. Whether that’s contributing code or docs I’m in!

I am going to use the OpenJS account today. I haven't used it before, so didn't 100% know what the link will be, but if you really want a link posted, I think it will end up being https://zoom.us/j/177107150 https://zoom.us/j/305917849

@ChandlerBaskins absolutely. The YouTube link for the recording will be posted here once it is live.

In a pinch, because it looks like zoom is overloaded to youtube, we are live-streaming on twitch. https://twitch.tv/wesleytodd
