Here are grid improvements possibilities:

  • Make the grid tick color configurable: it's currently fixed to black which make it hard to see on dark background

  • Do not display the grid on the main axis lines (there is a weird mix between black and the axis color which is sometimes a bit ugly)

  • The grid produce weird results with tone mapping

  • Adjust the grid unit square computation. On cow.vtp for example, the subticks are not visible
