Yes, if that works it should be pushed to Kalamine. However, I’d be curious to know wether the XKB installer doesn’t solve this issue already? XKB’s behavior is very different when using |
Not sure if the root cause was the same for me but the new XKB installer fixed the issue for me. |

okay my bad, for some reason play/pause/next/previous/stop media keys still do not work, fixed volume and brightness keys though |
Here’s a test that could help if you have the time:
I assume you rely on Gnome-shell to switch the keyboard layout (Super+Space). |
I have some issues with Ubuntu 16.04 as well, but I don’t think it’s related to Lafayette (same behavior with standard qwerty). Might be a Gnome issue. |
