From 4f76a28c93c56e3f0c03150460fd4236880e0c94 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Sebastian=20Markb=C3=A5ge?= Date: Wed, 14 Apr 2021 14:45:42 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] [Fizz] Implement New Context (#21255) * Add NewContext module This implements a reverse linked list tree containing the previous contexts. * Implement recursive algorithm This algorithm pops the contexts back to a shared ancestor on the way down the stack and then pushes new contexts in reverse order up the stack. * Move isPrimaryRenderer to ServerFormatConfig This is primarily intended to be used to support renderToString with a separate build than the main one. This allows them to be nested. * Wire up more element type matchers * Wire up Context Provider type * Wire up Context Consumer * Test * Implement reader in class * Update error codez --- .../src/__tests__/ReactDOMFizzServer-test.js | 66 +++++ .../src/server/ReactDOMServerFormatConfig.js | 4 + .../server/ReactNativeServerFormatConfig.js | 2 + .../src/ReactFizzClassComponent.js | 9 +- .../react-server/src/ReactFizzNewContext.js | 278 ++++++++++++++++++ packages/react-server/src/ReactFizzServer.js | 235 +++++++++++++-- .../forks/ReactServerFormatConfig.custom.js | 2 + scripts/error-codes/codes.json | 5 +- 8 files changed, 567 insertions(+), 34 deletions(-) create mode 100644 packages/react-server/src/ReactFizzNewContext.js diff --git a/packages/react-dom/src/__tests__/ReactDOMFizzServer-test.js b/packages/react-dom/src/__tests__/ReactDOMFizzServer-test.js index 9346f20f0442e..edbb2e9f2e970 100644 --- a/packages/react-dom/src/__tests__/ReactDOMFizzServer-test.js +++ b/packages/react-dom/src/__tests__/ReactDOMFizzServer-test.js @@ -727,4 +727,70 @@ describe('ReactDOMFizzServer', () => { , ); }); + + // @gate experimental + it('should resume the context from where it left off', async () => { + const ContextA = React.createContext('A0'); + const ContextB = React.createContext('B0'); + + function PrintA() { + return ( + {value => } + ); + } + + class PrintB extends React.Component { + static contextType = ContextB; + render() { + return ; + } + } + + function AsyncParent({text, children}) { + return ( + <> + + {children} + + ); + } + + await act(async () => { + const {startWriting} = ReactDOMFizzServer.pipeToNodeWritable( +
