Some possible features in this area:

  • Just run the app!
  • Test a particular component - opens a browser at the path of the component.
    • Is this meaningful for microservices (as opposed to UIs)?
    • Is this meaningful for wildcard paths?
  • Create debug launch files appropriate to the language (with language-appropriate debugger settings; LLDB works somewhat but isn't great)
