We want to do this in a way that requires as few additional fields as possible in the file object

Ideally we can find a library that has many of these

Higher priority

  • svg (easy)
  • Code files (easy)
  • HEIC images
  • RAW files
  • Epub (easy)
  • Font file

Lower priority

  • Word documents (easy)
  • .txt files
  • HTML
  • figma files
  • photoshop and illustrator files (this may be difficult? not sure)
  • blender (possibly difficult)
  • powerpoints
  • excel files

Thumbnail previews:

  • pdfs
  • videos
