Issues encountered due to Rune (Rosetta) updates

At the meeting of the Technology Architecture Working Group (TAWG) on July 11th, a concern was raised about how the changes to the CDM's underlying DSL, Rune (originally known as Rosetta DSL), could have a negative impact on the functionality of the CDM.

Several participants stated that they had encountered problems in the past. This discussion has been created to allow the community to explain with examples:

• What issues they have experienced
• How the issues manifested themselves
• Under what circumstances did they experience them
• What remediation steps were required, if any, to work around the issues

The purpose of this discussion is to assist the TAWG in define change control guidelines in relation to how Rune changes should be promoted to the CDM.
