"How can I see all available applications" is the most commonly asked question on irc

We tell them to go to http://beta.flathub.org/apps but it's likely that there's a number of confused users who never get to irc and ask, this group of people is likely large enough as to warrant some sort of temporary measure.

If it's that big an issue, I'd be open to reverting it. However, first I'd want to check: a) how soon the beta site might be ready and b) whether the old static site is up to date.

Even just linking to the beta site is better than the old list.

At that point we might as well just switch to the beta site, no?

I'm not against it. A work in progress is better than nothing at all.

I really don't feel like reverting to the old one page pile. I'd rather just roll with the beta site even though I haven't yet found the time to set it up locally and fix the stylesheet a little (too many nested rectangles and dropshadows).

I'd be fine to switch to the web app too, even if it's still a bit rough. We could even slap a "beta" sticker on it, to show that's work in progress.

However, there are a few small issues which would need be fixed before we made the switch, like:

But why not add a simple ‘Looking for the rest of the apps? Try the new work-in-progress app browser!’?
