"Continue playback" doesn't work

The continue playback option doesn't work, even if it's toggled to "always" or "ask". The "do you want to continue playback" dialog never appears in the top right hand corner.

Save recently played items preference is set to on.

Have tried resetting preferences but still not working.

Latest build from flathub on a OpenSuse tumbleweed PC.

I've just tested it and it works fine for me. I am going to need more infos here, like some logs.

Here is a log file with the continue playback option set to "ask".

Behavior is actually as anticipated if playback option is set to "always" (playback continues as expected). However when set to ask the dialog doesn't appear.

Let me know if you need anything else.
