When using the virtual camera fed by backscrub, I can see a preview in settings as well as see myself in a video call, but the camera output is never actually streamed to the other participants. After some time, a message about "cannot use your camera" or similar pops up, but the preview continues to run. Teams is at version 1.5.00.2386. No idea how to debug this, unfortunately...

I think I somewhere heard™, that some programs require the cam to actually produce a minimum frame rate constantly to properly work. Currently we do not actually set our target "frame rate" to anything, so v4l2loopback does not know for how long frames may be preserved for someone capturing from the device.
NB: Some people and I did a review of v4l2loopback recently (cf. their issue tracker starting issues 470-500) …
