Modifiers

The list of all available modifiers of Plant.id API. Modifiers are string values in the list called modifiers which is a optional request parameter.

Example:

"modifiers": ["crops_fast", "similar_images"]

Speed & accuracy

The API speed and accuracy can be changed with one of the following modifiers:

• "crops_fast" - default

• "crops_simple" - faster identification with lower accuracy

• "crops_medium" - slower identification with higher accuracy

Similar images

Plant.id API provides representative images of a suggested taxon (species or genus) or health issues. The representative images are not static; they are selected based on the similarity with photos uploaded by your customer to achieve user satisfaction. See explanation video.

• "similar_images" - similar images of the suggested taxon (species or genus) or health issue
