Did you check docs and existing issues?

  • I have read all the lazy.nvim docs
  • I have searched the existing issues of lazy.nvim
  • I have searched the existing issues of plugins related to this issue

Neovim version (nvim -v)

0.9.5

Operating system/version

macOS 14.3.1

Describe the bug

When installing the latest version of lazy nvim, the following error is shown: share/nvim/lazy/lazy.nvim/lua/lazy/init.lua:40: attempt to index field 'uv' (a nil value)

Stacktrace:

  • /share/nvim/lazy/lazy.nvim/lua/lazy/init.lua:40: in function 'setup'
  • in function 'require' /.config/nvim/init.lua:1: in main chunk

This issue only occurs on the stable branch, if I use v10.17.0 lazyvim works just fine.

Steps To Reproduce

  • Remove ~/.local/share/nvim and ~/.local/state/nvim
  • Install the latest version of lazy nvim, branch stable or v.10.18.0.
  • Error is shown

Expected Behavior

The field reference error is not shown.
