Help with firefox not working with extension

I want to start by saying that this is my first attempt dipping my toes into the Linux world so I have any idea where to start troubleshooting this problem and didn't see anyone reporting this as a bug or previous discussion regarding this specific app (I am sorry if I missed something that might be over my head)

Issue:
Simply put for some reason Firefox is ignoring the forge extension. It worked when I first installed the extension until I powered down my machine for the day, came back and noticed that the browser didn't automatically tile and none of the keyboard shortcuts worked with Firefox.

Does anybody have any advice on where I could start troubleshooting this issue?

Things I have tried / observed:
Thunderbird and all other apps (including other browsers) conform
Do not see any options in the Forge settings for including / excluding specific apps
Uninstall / reboot / reinstall Firefox
Uninstall / reboot/ reinstall Forge extension

OS: Ubuntu 24.04
DE: GNOME 46.0
Firefox: 127.0.1
Forge: 83

Hi @sstaley23 - You can try the following:

• To press the shortcut Super + Shift + c when Firefox window is focused. Super key is the Windows key.
• You can also delete the $HOME/.config/forge/config/windows.json, re-install Forge extension and see if that helps.

Also, the window border hint is light-grayish blue if that window is activated that way. You can toggle the window border by pressing Super + x.

Thank you, Super + Shift + C worked for me. Figured it was something I was missing.

Its description is window-toggle-always-float, I am assuming that I must of accidentally hit this at some point and I turned it back off correct? Does it add that to some sort of list and that is why it was still floating after multiple reboots and uninstalls?

Float = ignore tiling?
