Maps do not shift to vicinity of the area

Describe the bug
The maps on the explore page are working but, when a location is searched for, the pin is on the location but the map component does not span to that area.

For example, when we search for Singapore, the pin drops on Singapore but the map area is bounded to the USA.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Go to 'Explore Page'
2. Search for a location

Expected behaviour
Should span to the right area bounds.
