I would lave to have a guided timeline of notes, and when/where I encountered them.
Currently, we have two ways to view data:

  • List of cards, each containing the word/translation/dateTime
  • Map, each item containing the same info

What if we sliced data by dateTime? Would that give us different results? Concretely, would that give us any insights into how we picked up the language?

One of the things I imagined when making this, was many years into the future, looking back at the entries and saying "hey, here is my journey learning this language / settling in this place". Could we capture that somehow?

I have ideas, but I don't want to get a wireframe out from the get-go. I think that might limit us. Thoughts, internet?
