Hello, I am a simple user because I am looking for an open source solution to Google Authenticator. Before starting to use it, I just wanted to make sure of two things: 1) Do you plan to add additional security by password or other when opening the application? Of course, there is already the security of the phone, however, adding a layer of security would be welcome, I think. 2) Regarding the export of the XML file, I see that this file seems encrypted. Can you confirm that this is indeed the case and that even if someone were to have access to it, they would have all the difficulties to decrypt it unless perhaps they are a great expert. Thank you in advance for your answer and long life to open source... :-)

Hi @jackyfdx,
Even if I am a FreeOTP user, please consider issues #410, #405 or even #395. Some other open-source alternatives exist, I let you make your own opinion.
Many thank for pointing me to this... That's why I posted my question. So that seems FreeOTP is not a good solution..too bad. Could you please tell me what are the others open-source solution you make mention?
