As we discussed, the ability to use alternative CI/CD pipelines (including self-hosted) would be welcomed by the open source community. At least some instructions, like these on the blog of Tomas Votruba could help. The GitLab docs seem to imply that Actions are not automatically converted on import. However, GitHub provides helpful instructions for going the other way.

This would definitly be a plus. We are currently using FAIRDOM-seek coupled to a python plus frictionless validator. Using frictionless/repository to visualize validation reports would definitely be a plus. We could set this up using our own gitlab instance if need be.

Thanks for sharing! While it's not yet supported by Repository, you can render a validation report within the web app using the report component - https://application.frictionlessdata.io/docs/metadata.html
