Link edit pop up does not show up with Bootstrap modal #520

I have a froala editor hosted within a bootstrap modal using ngBootstrap. I can insert a link just fine, however clicking on an existing link does not show the pop up to edit it again.

workaround I currently have is to override .fr-popup to have "!important" on the z-index attribute on styles.scss
