How has you set the kioskboard?
I recommand you set to true the two below options :

			allowRealKeyboard: 		true,			
			allowMobileKeyboard: 	true,

In case of not, the fiels is set automatically to non editable by the script.

Could this be a different config to hide/show cursor when input is focused and kioskBoard is open?
