Installation

  1. Create macOS installer.
  2. Use GenSMBIOS to generate your SMBIOS data for your config.plist.
  3. Follow Dortania's OpenCore Big Sur Installation Guide.

Working

  • WIFI, Bluetooth*, On-board Ethernet (2.5G and 1G)
  • iMessage, iCloud, FaceTime, App Store, Apple Music
  • HandOff, AirPlay
  • All USB ports
  • Sleep and Wake-up

* Bluetooth doesn't work intermittently after wakeing up from a long time sleeping .

Not Working

  • AirDrop, Sidecar
  • Unlock with Apple Watch

* AirDrop, Sidecar and Unlock with Apple Watch need to switch to the compatible Broadcom Wireless/Bluetooth Card

FAQ

Q: Docker show "it's not compatible with this architecture" OR VMware Fusion and Parallel Desktop are not working

A: Both Docker, VMware Fusion, Parallel Destop are built based on Apple Hypervisor Kit. Meanwhile, the Apple Hypervisor Kit depends on the Intel VT-x virtualization technology. Install Virtualbox instead for virtualization support.

Q: Adobe Apps, Luminar etc. crashes

A: Some of the apps will encounter crashes while running, the problem is that these apps using some intel exclusive instructions like intel_fast_memset, which cannot be processed correctly on AMD processors. The solution can refer to AdobeAMDFix.md
