This extension hides tweets that contain videos from the timeline. Currently works well on the "Following" tab but does not handle navigation well on the "For you" tab.
Chrome-like: Extensions -> Enable developer mode -> "Load unpacked" -> load dist/chrome
Firefox: not quite so easy
