I have discovered that all the system text on my site that is wrapped in the <legend>System Text</legend> tag is not visible on my website:

this is what the text in tag looks like on the default @joomla user profile settings page:

gantry-login3

this is how this text looks in the default Cassiopeia Joomla template:

gantry-login4

all other text in any other tags is visible on my website.

This is a problem with the @gantry template, not Joomla.

Joomla 5.2, Gantry 5.5.19

@universewrld which template is this, Hydrogen or Helium?

Also, does this happen when you are in dark mode or light mode?

I've added an image of my Joomla v5.2 Gantry/Helium v5.5.19 and I do not have this issue.
I believe what you are running into has more to do with Dark Mode on your computer than anything else.
If you are going to design a website, you need to be able to check it in both light and dark mode.
With that said, I enabled Dark Mode in Firefox and the page still displayed properly. This tells me that you may have some other css styling added that is affecting how the tags are appearing.
If you'd care to share the URL of your site I'd be happy to inspect it for you. You will however need to set Gantry to Development mode instead of production.

@universewrld which template is this, Hydrogen or Helium?

Kraken Template v 1.5, Gantry 5.5.19, Joomla 5.2

Also, does this happen when you are in dark mode or light mode?

my browser is set to Dark Mode.
as far as i know @gantry does not have templates that support Dark Mode.
Gantry has some dark templates, but it is not the same as Dark Mode.

Dark Mode is defined via prefers-color-scheme [source]
since all other texts are clearly visible in my template, then it is Gantry's fault, because only system texts in <legend> tag are not visible in my template.

@universewrld As before with Helium, we have the same result with a fresh install of Kraken. I just installed Kraken using the Kraken Template Joomla v.5.1 Rocket Launcher. I then immediately updated to Joomla v5.2. The results speak for themselves. You need to inspect your css because you must have something overriding the core color scheme.

I changed some default colors in Kraken template settings (not in CSS files), so it is a bug in @gantry settings.
All other texts are displayed as they should, except system texts, which I think is a bug in template/Gantry.

just don't tell me that in the template settings I don't have the right to change some default colors.
I have the right to change the default colors because Gantry has such functionality, but the system colors were originally made incorrectly, so they are not visible with any change of default colors in the template.

@universewrld You have the right to change default colors but when doing so you need to know that if you change those colors they may impact other things like this. So without knowing what you changed I'm unable to help you. This is something similar what others have done in the past with the mobile hamburger icon. They changed some of the system colors then the icon doesn't show up on mobile and they say it is broken. It's not broken or a bug, it's how you use the features.

I would suggest taking a closer look at the colors you changed to see which one had the affect on the text in question. If still can't correct it that way, the you need to consider adding styling to the custom.scss file to get it to appear the way you want. This is the reason that option is available.

You have changed the Base Text Color under the Styles tab to #ffffff.
The default is #272c35.
See the image for reference.

now i remembered why i changed the color in these fields because i needed background image option and i wanted to put dark image there to match my website design but since this template doesn't have background image option for this place so i used background color (black) because by default this template doesn't look good enough.

gantry2

That's why RocketTheme could make their templates better, more customizable.
this template looks perfect for my website but has a very big drawback - it is impossible to make a background image in the Gantry setting because I don't like that the whole background image is there as a solid white color which looks very bad on my website.

i know some other @gantry templates have background image field but this template is more suitable for my website.
that's why Gantry could make more customization options for all templates.

i read their post where they said that they don't want to make new templates anymore but they could improve their old templates and update them to modern web design standards.

@universewrld If you want to add a background image where there isn't one, you just need to identify the "id" or "class" of the section you want to target and add the image via the custom.scss file. You can even set all the background sections to be transparent, then add a video or image to show in the area behind all the content, i.e. Menu, Articles, Modules, etc... If you would like help with this let me know, and I can give you some tips on how to accomplish this. This is something I've done on many sites.

Please do also post the link to where Rocket Theme said they didn't want to make new templates because I haven't seen that nor can I find it.

As far as I understood, reading the messages on the official forum, a subscription to RocketTheme will now only mean technical support for old, previously released templates, and Gantry will now only be handled by the Open Source community, so everything that users paid for will no longer be developed.
those people who are still in business are only doing Grav CMS.

looks like this is the end for RocketTheme and Gantry.
the last new template from them was released 2.5 years ago and since then there has been an update of only the RocketLauncher for Joomla 5 (but not the templates).
