Issue:
In the "Image Information" panel, several entries reveal GPS coordinates, but
this information is not very useful for the following reasons:
1) Clicking on the information does not display a map, nor does it display the
location via a third party application or website.
2) Copying Latitude, Longitude, or Position fields is not useful because when
pasting into Apple Maps or Google Maps or even directly into a Google search
the format is not recognized.
In order to make use of this data the user must manually edit it, typically via
a tedious trial and error process, to find the proper format that will be
readable by Apple Maps or Google Maps.
Solution:
In order of desirability, please consider the following recommended
enhancements:
1) Display an embedded, interactive map of the location, if GPS data is present.
2) Allow the location to be opened directly in Apple Maps and/or sent to a
Google Maps search in the browser (preferably configurable by the user.)
3) Reformat the GPS Location data so that, when copied, it is in a format that
is directly readable by Apple Maps and/or Google Maps.
