Welcome to Isla Fortuna!!!
This update features the base Island of Sail: ISLA FORTUNA.
Teleportation is officially retired and replaced with Sprint and Jump
New Features
- Boat Controller updated to work based on physics
- New Island (Isla Fortuna)

- SFX and Ambient noise controllable from Options
- Sprint added (mapped to Left Thumbstick pressed down)

Sail now has a mostly functioning menu. Along with the menu comes a an update that allows the boat to sail smoother through the waters

VISUAL OVERHAUL
THE MAP JUST GOT LARGER... AND LOW POLY....
Visual overhaul update!
This update gives sail a look that will be easier on the quest's GPU. With islands to explore and plenty to sail around you sailors can now roam about and see what there is to discover.
New Features
- Cutlass sword
- New ship
- Shipwreck island
- Shipwreck pass
- Small islands
- Destroyable crates w/ hidden objects
Known Issues
- Can sail through most things
- Steering wheel breaks when turned too far
- Player ejects out of back of boat if they don't teleport before deactivating anchor.
- Cannon doesn't fire while boat is in motion
SET SAIL!!!!
SHIP CONTROLS ENABLED!!!
This update to Sail brings a steerable ship with two adjustable sails controlled by levers and an anchor to start and stop ship movement. The controls are still under development and can be expected to have some unforeseen bugs. But we hope that ye privateers will enjoy the progress that has been made.
Features Added
- Steering Wheel that when anchor is deactivated turns the ship left and right
- Anchor lever that starts and stops ship
- Sail levers that activate/deactivate sails (increases ship speed)
- Saber now snaps back to waist when dropped
Known Issues
- Boxes fall out of back of boat
- Ship does not collide with environment
- Cannon does no damage to enemy ship
- player will fall out of back of ship without teleporting before disengaging anchor after startup.
