Access window object when using JavaScript

Hi, this might sound silly but I am new to Gauge and I am trying to access the window object before a step is executed. The reason I need to access the window object is because a third party library sets some data on the object that I need to fetch in my tests and forward it to another API on my backend... Is this possible with Gauge?

Just resolved the issue using taiko evaluate:

beforeScenario(async (step)=>{
    const objectToGetFromWindow = await evaluate(() => { return window.objectToGetFromWindow });
})
