Markdown link breaks with ?

I have a problem with markdown links.

We have from image-linking that

[My Link](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=something)

will generate

<a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details" id="something">My Link</a>

But I would like it to link to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=something.
