Is it possible to update a compose stack without changing the docker-compose.yml

Hi All,
I was wondering whether it is possible to have WUD update a compose stack without changing the yaml. Normally I will simple do a docker compose pull, docker compose down and then docker compose up -d again. Is it possible to have a trigger that can be started via the UI which does exactly that.

If you configure the Docker Compose trigger, wud will:

1. update the yaml
2. recreate the changed containers

If you configure the Docker trigger (also possible even if you run your containers using Compose), wud will:

1. recreate the changed containers (without touching anything regarding Compose files)

The drawback is that your docker-compose.yaml will then be out of sync with your real state 😞

For both options, the trigger can be executed automatically or manually from the UI.

I am using the "latest" or "main" tag for the docker images I use in compose files a lot, so I don´t get why the yaml has to be rewritten. With what? It makes sense if you are pinning all your image versions but if you are not what would you want to change?

Currently, is that causing a bug or something?
(I mean wud trying to rewrite the yaml with the same content)

Not really but it would make the system pretty cumbersome for me. You have to map the yaml file for every single stack. I am using traefik with labels to be able to quickly spin up a stack or take it down. My dream would be to have a button in the UI for every compose stack to update the stack without having to map the compose file each time, especially if it isn´t really needed as wud won´t change it anyway. It is not a showstopper for me. I have an cli alias which will quickly update a stack with one command. It would just be nice if I could take a look at the UI, see the stacks which need updating and then simple click a button to update them, but as I said it would be just a nice to have.
