Build u-boot

Needed dependencies

https://u-boot.readthedocs.io/en/latest/build/gcc.html#dependencies

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y make gcc gcc-arm-none-eabi gcc-arm-linux-gnueabi gcc-x86-64-linux-gnux32 u-boot-tools git bison flex libncurses5-dev libncursesw5-dev libssl-dev

Get sources

git clone -b v2022.07 https://github.com/u-boot/u-boot.git
cd u-boot/

Build

export ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi-

make distclean
make ix4-200d_config
make -j`nproc` u-boot.kwb
# Or one line
make distclean && make ix4-200d_config && make -j`nproc` u-boot.kwb

# Copy compiled files
cp u-boot.kwb ../ix4-200d/dist/ix4-200d-u-boot-2022.07.kwb
cp dts/dt.dtb ../ix4-200d/dist/kirkwood-ix4-200d.dtb

# Copy latest kwboot
sudo cp ./tools/kwboot /usr/bin

Build DTB file only

# To update DTS from this repo
cp ../ix4-200d/scripts/dts/kirkwood-ix4-200d.dts arch/arm/dts/

export ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi-
make dts/dt.dtb

# Copy compiled file
cp dts/dt.dtb ../ix4-200d/dist/kirkwood-ix4-200d.dtb

Notes

NAND_PAGE_SIZE should be correct in kwbimage.cfg, otherwise it will not boot when flashed on nand.
