Why won't the ctrl+, keyboard shortcut create an inline code snippet?

Hello, this is taken from the reddit thread I started to see if I could use an inline code formatting shortcut:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Anki/comments/tkoaak/quickly_add_code_html_tags_to_text/i295mc9/?context=3

Hi. I've tried installing the package mini format pack v1.1 by adding the "number code" provided on the https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/295889520 page for mini format pack. I've also tried installing it directly using the package provided on github https://github.com/glutanimate/mini-format-pack/releases ...each time the Ctrl+, shortcut did not work for inline code formatting.

I also looked at the config.json file from the source and attempted to match my config in the add-ons menu, adding the entry:{"name": "formatInlineCode","tooltip": "Insert inline code","hotkey": "ctrl+,"}This time, instead of getting a comma, when pressing Ctrl+, I got an error.I'm thinking that the inline code feature has not been added to the version I'm using...

On the changelog page there is a mention of an inline code button being added:"Added button for inline code formatting (thanks to Rai and lukkea for their contributions and to Juddd for the feature request!)0.1.1 - 2018-07-24"

I'd really love to get this feature working on my setup... it would save me a huge amount of time, so it's worth a bit of effort for me... thanks!

Edit: I considered building the add-on from source to add it that way, but it apparently needs a tool: pypi.org/project/aab/ ...that is not compatible with Windows, which is what I'm using.
