Describe the bug
Room 10 Crashes When Trying to Look at Hint - this is because there is no "player" object registered in the room.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start room 10.
  2. "Look hint" (i.e. the rectangle on the wall in the middle of the screen)
  3. Notice the crash/error

Expected behavior
The game shouldn't crash. Whether the solution is an off-screen player still registered, or something else more elegant, can be discussed.

Versions

  • Escoria: Current develop
  • Godot: 3.5.2
