installation getting chunked, as docker is migrating to docker compose v2

Installing versions 1.10.18 and 2.11
getting chunked by the install script. I've installed docker compose plugin and docker-compose
but it seems the install script is running docker-compose command and getting 'chunked" .
I'm using ubuntu 24.04
