Can you support YAML for Gopkg file? Are there any clear benefits of using TOML over YAML for this particular use-case?

hi, welcome! thanks for the issue.

no, we won't support multiple files, which is what this would amount to. yes, there are benefits, albeit small ones. we bikeshedded this more or less to death in #120.
