The cover image URL can be submitted by the user when submitting the library details,
and further dev team can add size and resolution restrictions for better UI/UX.

This is a great idea! Cover images can make posts more visually appealing and can help to capture the reader's attention. They can also be used to convey the main topic of a post or to create a consistent look and feel for a blog or website.

Here are some ideas for how to implement this feature:

Allow users to upload their own cover images. This would give users the most flexibility and would allow them to choose images that are relevant to their own content.
Provide a library of stock cover images that users can choose from. This would be a good option for users who don't have their own images or who don't have the time to create custom images.
Automatically generate cover images based on the content of the post. This could be done by using a tool like Google AI's Imagen to generate images from text descriptions.
Once the feature is implemented, it is important to make sure that the cover images are displayed in a consistent way across the Google Dev Library. This could be done by using a standard image size and by cropping images to a uniform aspect ratio.

Here are some additional benefits of adding cover images to the Google Dev Library:

Increased engagement. Cover images can make posts more visually appealing and can help to capture the reader's attention. This can lead to increased engagement, such as more clicks, shares, and comments.
Improved SEO. Cover images can be used to improve the search engine optimization (SEO) of posts. This is because search engines like Google can index images and use them to better understand the content of a post.
Enhanced brand awareness. Cover images can be used to create a consistent look and feel for the Google Dev Library. This can help to enhance brand awareness and make the library more recognizable to users.
Overall, I think that adding the feature to add cover images to posts in the Google Dev Library would be a great improvement. It would make posts more visually appealing, improve engagement, and enhance brand awareness.
