We received a user report that the Noto Serif family is missing subscript numbers.

 ‎U+2081 SUBSCRIPT ONE
 ‎U+2082 SUBSCRIPT TWO
 ‎U+2083 SUBSCRIPT THREE

It looks like this may be in the Roman only based on my test of the current production front end:

I can confirm that they are present in the latest download zip archive variable font files from Fonts:

Perhaps a subsetter definition issue?

Indeed, these codepoints are not defined in any subset.

Also to add (as the one who submitted the user report), they reappear on page reload and disappear once you refresh the preview boxes by highlighting them; which is why they appeared in the original screenshot. This is definitely a subsetter issue and not one particular to Noto Serif Roman.
