Currently trying to run Rennsport on Manjaro (via Steam).
The problem is, if my CSL DD is turned on the game will get to the first splash screen, then crash. If it is turned off, game starts no problem. If I then turn on the wheel base, Rennsport crashes the moment I hear the "ding" from the USB device. I have tried with kernels 6.10.11 and 6.11.0, with hid-fanatecff HEAD or tag 0.1.2.
The wheel works fine for ACC, BeamNG (well, it works), ExoCross and DiRT Rally (the first one). And since the crash happens in direct relation to the wheel being turned on, I thought maybe this could be an issue with the kernel module, but it could also be a problem from Rennsport itself.
I am a bit unsure, maybe someone else has a similar experience, maybe there is a possible link? I have attached a log file from proton (PROTON_LOG=1 %command% in steam) in the hopes it could be useful: steam-3222810.log (this log was truncated just before I turned on the wheel, to keep noise to a minimum).
cheers

Ok, I was looking through some of the other issues/pull requests and decided to test #86 with the patched proton, this fixes the issue. Just in case someone stumbles upon this, even completely nuking the compatdata for Rennsport and starting it fresh with proton 6.x, then switching to a newer version, did not fix the issue for me.
