I'm trying to use something like this:
a class:"gold", data-action:"add" -> "Add data point"
I always get the NaN error, please can you explain how to get this to work?

Use 'data-action' instead, otherwise the coffeescript compiler thinks you're subtracting. It sucks, I know.
