Selected dynamic value is not getting assigned

Hello, we were able to make the plugin to work and dynamically populate the dropdown with the dynamic options. However, when we assign a selection to the environment variable, the environment variable remain blank when we echo the env value in runtime. Are we doing something wrong with our configurations, or we are misusing the plugin altogether?
